Is Georgian hard to learn?
Georgian has a unique alphabet and grammar, which can seem intimidating at first. But the alphabet is completely phonetic (each letter = one sound), and basic conversational Georgian is very achievable with the right method. Our audio course is designed specifically to make it accessible — no grammar tables, just listen and speak.
Do I need to learn the Georgian alphabet first?
We recommend it! Our free YouTube video teaches you all 33 letters in about an hour using real-world context (street signs, shop names). But the audio course works even without reading — it's entirely audio-based, so you can start speaking immediately.
How is this different from Duolingo?
Duolingo doesn't offer Georgian. And apps that do cover Georgian tend to use generic translation exercises. EasyGeorgian is purpose-built for Georgian — native speaker recordings, real conversational phrases, and teaching methods (Pimsleur-style) proven by decades of government language training.
What does the audio course include?
60 interactive audio lessons, each about 30 minutes long. You'll learn greetings, restaurant/shopping phrases, directions, taxi conversations, talking about yourself, making plans, and much more. The course uses spaced repetition built into the lesson structure so words stick permanently.

Do I need any Georgian knowledge to start?
None at all. The beginner audio course starts from absolute zero. If you already know some Georgian, the podcast course (intermediate level) might be a better fit.
How long does it take to become conversational?
With 30 minutes a day, most learners can hold basic conversations after 30-40 lessons (about 5-6 weeks). The full 60-lesson course takes about 2 months and covers everything you need for daily life in Georgia.
Can I use this on my phone?
